Yes, I am still thinking about the card!

I bought this card from a small stationery shop in Pittsburgh some years ago and that's how I got to know Bellamuse.

I love their simplicity and great choices of typography.

This one is my favorite..pretty icons and muted colors...I'm simply smitten.

I'm thinking screen printing, I'm thinking Jason Munn

Given my deep deep love for screen printing. I think I am very likely to make a screen printed wedding invites.

But who knows, letterpress is so tempting too. 

I am looking beyond the wedding invitation category for an inspiration. I love these simple icons on Jason Munn's posters.

I think he's amazing.

Something exciting

My boyfriend and I got engaged last week. Just the day before we left for Japan.

Our Japan trip was a blast and I will post about it very soon, but now I have so many things to be excited about

-The theme of our wedding

-The venue

-The dress!

-The invitations!!!

-The favors and gifts

_The cake!

It feels good to be a bride-to-be :) I especially can't stop thinking about the invitations!! I will share my obsession on this space in the coming months.

Little things

The day after thanksgiving I took a walk in a garden and found this little red berry.

Little things, especially round things like polka dots always make me happy.

There is something calming about their round shapes. 

And when it comes to polka dots, no one does it better than Lisa Stickley

Her random placement of these dots seem just right to me.
